Description

Precision DC ammeter shunt that converts high DC current into a proportional low millivolt signal readable by a standard DC ammeter. Built to U.S. Military Specification A-A-55524 for laboratory-grade accuracy of ±0.25%. The 871 series covers 5A to 150A with 50mV, 75mV, 100mV, or 150mV outputs to suit your metering setup. Commonly used in DC power distribution, battery bank monitoring, solar installations, electroplating systems, and marine DC systems.

Note: Pair with a Crompton 242, 243, or 244 DC ammeter for a complete metering solution. Match the shunt millivolt output to your ammeter’s millivolt input range. For higher currents, see the 872 series (200A–600A).
