Crompton DRS DIN Rail Energy Meter – Direct Connect, Modbus

Description

Direct-connect DIN rail energy and power meter — no external CTs needed, simply wire the load conductors directly through the meter for a simpler, lower-cost installation. Class 1B accuracy with Modbus RS485 output for BMS, SCADA, or energy monitoring integration. The 3-phase model supports import/export metering, making it ideal for solar installations where you need to track both grid consumption and solar feed-in. Commonly used for sub-metering, tenant metering, solar monitoring, and circuit-level energy tracking.

Note: Direct connect means the load current flows through the meter itself — no separate CTs are required, but installation must be done by a qualified electrician. Maximum current ratings are 45A (1-phase) or 100A (1-phase and 3-phase). For higher currents, use a CT-connected meter such as the RI3-01 or Integra 1222 with external CTs.
