Built to U.S. Military Specification A-A-55524, accuracy ±0.25%. The 873 series covers 800A to 1200A, suited to heavy industrial DC systems, smelting operations, large rectifier banks, and high-current battery installations.
Note: Pair with a Crompton 242, 243, or 244 DC ammeter for a complete metering solution. For lower currents, see the 872 series (200A–600A). For even higher currents, see the 883/884 series (75mV output) or 885/886 single-rating shunts.
